Fee Structure

Payment Schedule
* Fees are payable on two (2) installments; at the beginning of each term (60%) and 40% on or before 3 weeks to examination.
* Parents may choose annual payments or installment payments.

Extra & Compulsory Lessons
At DGDC, we are dedicated to preparing all our students for academic success. To support effective learning, the school has scheduled "after-school and weekend lessons" for all classes.
Compulsory Lessons for JSS 3 & SS3
* Who: All JSS3 and SS3 students.
* Purpose: Preparation for forthcoming external examinations (BECE, WAEC, NECO).
* Schedule: Begins in the *second week of resumption. "Mondays – Fridays" (after normal school hours).
* Saturdays inclusive for intensive revision.
* Subjects: Core examination subjects and past question practice.
* Attendance: Strictly "compulsory". Absences must be explained in writing by parents.
Extra Lessons for Other Classes
* Who: All students in JSS 1, JSS 2, SS1, and SS2.
* Purpose: To reinforce classroom learning, improve understanding, and prepare students ahead for future external exams.
* Schedule: Begins in the *second week of resumption*. Mondays – Thursdays (after school hours).
* Optional Saturday subject clinics for students needing extra help.
* Subjects: Core subjects (English, Mathematics, Sciences) and selected additional subjects.
* Attendance: Strongly recommended for all students.

Examination Results Update
At DGDC, we understand the importance of timely updates on examination results and future placements. Please find below the latest information on external results for our students:
SS3 – WAEC Results
* The 2025 WAEC results for SS3 students is out, so students can kindly go check their results but must not forget to obtain their scratch card.
* The school will also provide guidance and counseling on result checking, subject performance, and next academic steps.
JSS 3 – BECE Results
* The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results are expected to be released by late September or October 2025.
* Parents will be duly informed once the results are published.
* Placement into Senior Secondary 1 (SS1) will be based on these results.
Important Notice for Potential SS1 Students
While awaiting the release of BECE results, *all JSS 3 graduates who are prospective SS1 students are encouraged to resume with the new academic session*.
* This will allow them to "settle early into senior secondary school life".
* It also ensures that no valuable academic time is lost during the waiting period.
* Necessary adjustments will be made once official results are released.

* Prompt resumption at the start of the session.
* Full participation in SS1 orientation and academic activities.

Discipline
* Students must demonstrate respect for teachers, peers, school property, and themselves.
* Acts of misconduct such as bullying, cheating, fighting, or disobedience will not be tolerated.
* Disciplinary actions will be taken where necessary in line with school policy.
Punctuality
* All students must arrive at school on or before *7:30 a.m.* daily.
* Late-coming disrupts learning and will attract penalties.
* Regular and prompt attendance is compulsory for all school activities, including lessons and assemblies.
Dress Code & Uniform
* Students must wear the *approved school uniform* neatly and smartly at all times.
* Correct shoes, socks, and ties (where applicable) form part of the uniform.
* Hairstyles should be simple, neat, and in line with school regulations (no extreme styles, colors, or fashion accessories).
* On sports days, students must appear in their *approved sportswear*.
General Conduct
* Students are expected to use polite language and maintain courtesy at all times.
* Chewing gum, use of mobile phones (unless approved), and other distractions are not allowed during school hours.
* Respect for time, orderliness, and personal responsibility are values we instill in all our learners.
